How can anyone expect me to study on a day like this.
I love drawing. It gives me numerous possibilities of expressing myself and it also gives me a feeling of self-appreciation and pure happiness. Drawing has always been a part of my life, but only recently I've started taking it more seriously, by reading books, drawing even more, improving my weak fields… Here I will blog about my art progress but also other things I enjoy doing, like sewing, fashion, being with my dog ...

Miror shoes - well kind of
I've had a fascination with mirror shoes since I first spotted these bbys in ...well some time ago: http://www.solestruck.com/andreia-chaves-invisible-shoe-mirror/index.html , but evidently they are out of my league (sadly). So I decided to make my own.
I planned everything. I had a pair of old ballerina shoes that I intended to secure on wooden platform soles (that I would make out of super light wood) and glue broken mirrors with my newly acquired super glue E6000. Dealing with the lack of time and money (wood can be really expensive), I have found an alternative.
I used a pair of old shoes. Vagabond - I dare to say that these are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. they fit like a glove and they really feel more like slippers than shoes. Well I have worn them so much that I have managed to make a hole in the sole and made the shoe almost fall apart. I decided to bring them back to life by giving them a new sole (this has yet to happen), fixing anything that could be fixed (gluing parts of the sole back on) and adding drama with my mirror equivalents - old CDs.
First I broke the CDs in a box, so parts of them didn't get thrown all over the room. Then I separated the shiny and the transparent layer and got to work. It was all about matching the right pieces together to achieve a mosaic look. As mentioned I have used my new favorite glue E6000 which really glues anything to anything ... for good.
the shoes really only came to life when exposed to direct sunlight and I think the CDs have had an even better effect than the mirrors would, because of their rainbow like reflections. I am really pleased with how this project turned out and will be doing more CD DIYs in the future.

Mononucleosis
Last Thursday, my mild autumn-start of school-stress cold took a turn for the worse. I was slightly feverish, my throat swelled and soon I couldn't speak. Joy. Over the next 7 days, going from doctor to doctor (yep that is how long it takes to get a basic diagnosis in Slovenia), I got diagnosed with infectious mononucleosis, or as most people call it, the kissing disease. So I am currently at home resting, recovering ...since it's a virus, it can't really be helped. I decided that I will try to update my blog a bit. I know I haven't posted anything in ages, but I believe that I sholdnt feel forced to do it. Now that I have found time and motivation to continue, I will. :)
I shoud proabbly get this for myself x3 http://www.giantmicrobes.com/us/products/kissingdisease.html

ENGLAND-4,5-TRAVELLING & WONDERS OF BERK
4th day consisted of waking up, packing, eating, trying to sleep on a bus, waiting around and eventually getting picked up by Tim, his dad and Cas (the car). Feels amazing to be back to my second home again :).
5th day, the weather did not look exactly promising, so after picking berries in the garden and being forced back in because of the rain ...
*Also I'll be updating my lookbook on here as well at the top of the screen widget ;)

...we decided to go to Kingston, wander around cluelessly and watch How to train your dragon 2 in the evening. this movie is something else I swear. I love the story(ies), the amazing characters, each woth their own quirks and characteristics, the dragons (of course), landscapes hhfbvbn xsbvhjbvfcb. I just feel super hyped to draw...and PLEASE CAN SOMEONE MAKE IRL DRAGONS HAPPEN? I WANT ONE (or a few).
For now just have the Crazy Dragon Lady (drawn from memory, resemblance not guaranteed).*Also I'll be updating my lookbook on here as well at the top of the screen widget ;)

ENGLAND-3-TORTILIAS AND HAIR
Pictures from yesterday which I forgot to post!
Me and IPI made tortilias, they were /considering our cooking exoerience/ quite good.
And I experimented with my short hair. I still have no clue what to do with it, but practice makes perfect :D.
*Bonus; Trying on Twigi's new costume ;)
I don't feel like writing lately + picture is worth a thousand words, so 4000sth should be more than enough ;D.

ENGLAND-2-THE CITY
Sheffield is a nice city. I will always miss the familiarity of Ljubljana and its smallness. I didn't have William with me today, so no pictures for yaa and I have been reading The Ultimate Guide To The Galaxy most of the day, so no mayor life breaktroughs, except proving the nonexistance of god because of a tiny yellow fish.
